These terms cover your use of forkliftcompare.net. They are written in plain language because the site is a reference tool, not a shop: nothing is sold here, no account is created, and nothing you do on the site commits you to anything.
What this site is
ForkliftCompare publishes forklift and warehouse-truck specifications transcribed from manufacturers’ own published documents, together with comparison pages and calculators built on those figures. Every specification is shown with the document it came from and the date it was read. How we do that, and what we refuse to publish, is set out on the methodology page.
Accuracy and your own checks
Manufacturers revise specifications, and a machine as configured for sale can differ from the model in a brochure: mast, tyres, battery, attachments and options all move the numbers. Treat what you read here as a starting point for a conversation with a dealer, not as a quotation or a guarantee. Before you buy, hire or specify equipment, confirm the figures that matter against the manufacturer’s current documentation for the exact configuration you are considering.
Calculator results are arithmetic performed on the numbers you type in. They are estimates, not quotes, and they cannot know your tariff, your duty cycle, your maintenance contract or your local prices unless you tell them.
Safety
Nothing on this site is operator training, and reading it does not qualify anyone to operate a lift truck. Operator training, licensing and workplace safety are governed by law where you work — in the United States by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178, elsewhere by the local equivalent — and by the manufacturer’s operating manual for the specific truck. Where a page discusses safety, it describes published rules; it does not replace them.
Trade marks
Manufacturer and model names are the trade marks of their owners and are used here only to identify the equipment described. ForkliftCompare is independent: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by any manufacturer or dealer.
Copyright
The text, comparisons, calculators and page design on this site are ours. Individual specification values are facts and we make no claim over them; the compilation, the presentation and the wording are protected. You are welcome to cite figures from the site with a link to the page they came from. Republishing whole pages or bulk-copying the database is not permitted.
Advertising
The site carries advertising, which is how it is funded. Advertisements are supplied by a third-party network and are not endorsements: what appears in an ad slot is not selected by us and is not part of the site’s editorial content. How advertising affects data collected about you is described in the privacy policy.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. We take care with the figures and correct errors when we find them or when they are reported, but we cannot accept liability for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of this site alone. That is the practical reason for the sentence above about confirming critical figures before you buy.
